We took a trip to the Shedd Acquarium in Chicago the end of May. Aubrey had gotten free admission for two adults and three children at an assembly she went to and the admission expired June 1st. There was no way we were going to waste free admission to the Shedd, so luckily it rained and Calvin got to go with us. Danielle wasn't busy that day, so she met us up there too. The kids were very excited and anxious to look around. We had taken the girls there three years ago, but they didn't remember much, so it was fun to watch them look around as if everything was new. They had a couple of new exhibits that we got to go and see - one about jellyfish and one where you could actually touch a stingray. We also went to a 3D movie with the Ice Age characters. They liked it at first, until it got a little scary, and then the girls clung to Danielle, while Coye held onto Calvin for dear life. Overall, it was a fun (and exhausting) day.

| They swam through this shallow pool and you had to put your hand in the water and hope they were near enough to you that you could actually touch one. I was able to feel one - they were very soft! |
