We got our first big snow storm the middle of December. It was a heavy wet snow that packed very well. By the time we actually made it outside later in the week, the girls were off of school and my nephew Eddie was over. I took the kids out and we played for almost two hours! It was perfect weather - warm (over freezing so the snow was melting some) and no wind. We had a big snow pile that they played on for at least an hour just climbing up and sliding down. We were also able to make the tallest snowman I've ever made before - the snow just packed so easily. Aubrey even made her own. We attempted to play Fox and Goose which is a game I played as a kid. It was hard for the boys, but the girls did great. By the time we came inside, they were all pretty tired.
