Iroquois County Fair

My sister-in-law Ingrid and her boys came for the fair this year (along with my sister Danielle). They came for Hannah's wedding and ended up staying another week, so they came and spent time with us and went to the fair. We had a blast! They had never been to a fair before and weren't sure what to expect, but they loved it, especially the kids! Their favorite part was definitely looking at the animals and petting them in the petting zoo. Chloe even sat still in the stroller and just took everything in, rather than running around like a crazy woman like she normally does. :)

Riding the carousel - Aubrey and Maximus loved it - Chloe cried almost the whole time!

On Saturday, we decided to let the two older kids ride on some rides. They were so excited to pick out which rides they wanted to do (within reason). Ingrid and I rode the dumbo ride with them, but otherwise they did the rest of the rides by themselves. Aubrey and Maximus had a blast! I don't think Aubrey would have liked it nearly as much without Maximus. I'm so glad they were together to do that!
