We celebrated Coye's birthday this past Sunday with a John Deere themed party. The kid is obsessed with tractors right now, and his "favorite" color is green. (When I say that, I mean that if you ask him what color anything is, he always says green.) Family and friends came over for dinner after church - Calvin grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, which were so good! The kids played and then we had cake and ice cream and opened presents. Coye loved it when we sang "Happy Birthday" to him and really loved trying to blow out his candle. He enjoyed opening all of his presents, even if it seemed to take him forever. And he wanted to play with everything that he got rather than open the next one. He eventually figured out how it went and then got to play with his new stuff. It was a great day!
