This past weekend was the Iroquois County Fair. We were out at the fair four of the six days that it ran. We had such a good time walking around, visiting, and eating all of the yummy fair food! It was very hot, but the girls were very good. Aubrey absolutely loved it. Her favorite parts were riding on the carousel and seeing the baby chicks at the petting zoo. She never wanted to hold one. She basically just liked watching them. Chloe liked looking at everything! There was so much to see!

We had told Aubrey that she could eat an elephant ear at the fair. She said that she wanted "a little, tiny, baby elephant" and wanted to pet it. She didn't realize that it was food. So here she is petting the elephant ear. :)Riding on the carousel with Sophia and Aunt Dani

We ended up entering several things this year. Aubrey entered a painting and a flower for the first time and ended up winning two first place ribbons! I entered Grandma's quilt and a picture that Danielle took in Italy. The quilt won first place, but the picture didn't get anything. Calvin entered five goats and ended up taking home Grand Champion and Reserve Champion in the Boer goat open class show. We got to see him show some of the goats. Overall, it was a great time!
