Go, go, go!

I meant to post something last week, but time kind of got away from me. I have been working on washing my windows and woodwork - you know, typical spring cleaning stuff. It's been an extremely slow process. I usually only get about one room done a day. I only have the kitchen and mud room left. Hallelujah! The girls have been keeping busy playing, crying, throwing tantrums - the typical kid stuff. Aubrey has been infatuated with the idea of going to the big park in Crescent. Last week was a horrible week to try and go though with the rain almost every day, so she's had to settle with playing on her own playground, which she does love too.

Last weekend, Calvin's friend Steve got married. The girls weren't invited to the wedding, so we had to find babysitters for them. We actually had two nights out without the girls! It was strange! Friday night was the rehearsal, so Calvin's mom and dad watched the girls for a couple of hours. Saturday afternoon was the wedding, so Calvin's brother and sister-in-law watched them. (Chloe was very fussy for them - I felt really bad!) Saturday evening was the reception, so Calvin's aunt watched the girls. Chloe ended up taking a bottle for Kathy and fell asleep. Aubrey played with Abby (my 8 year old niece) and then spent the night at Kathy's. (We picked up Chloe when we came home.) Aubrey had a blast going to different people's houses! She loved jumping on the trampoline and splashing her feet in the pool at Luke and Shelly's, playing with Grandpa and Grandma and seeing their baby kittens, and playing at Aunt Kathy's house. She didn't want to come home on Sunday!

Chloe looks so pretty in blue!

Aubrey decided to make faces at me. This is her happy face.

This is her grumpy face!

Here's her sad face.

I put Chloe's hair in a ponytail for the first time. It's a bit ridiculous, but it just shows how long her hair is getting!

Aubrey played with Play-doh for over an hour the other day while I made supper. It was great!

This is a typical position for Chloe - fingers in her mouth while playing with her feet.

It was chilly when we went outside today, so I put a hat that tied on Chloe. She looks like Little Bo Peep.

It started raining tonight just as I was giving the girls a bath. Calvin looked outside and saw this beautiful rainbow.
