This past weekend was my sister Hannah's baby shower. The girls and I had been looking forward to it for weeks. We haven't been to my parents' house since August, so it was a nice getaway, even though it was quick and busy. The girls had a blast with everyone - they were showered with lots of attention and many people to play and read to them. They loved all of Grandma's Berenstein Bears books and read as many of them as they could. It was also so nice to have Mom put the girls to bed both nights. What a treat! The shower went well too. Hannah got more things that she needed and there was a good turnout. The cake was awesome (mom got a DQ cake), and the games were fun too. The girls had fun helping Han open her gifts. They were great the entire weekend and were awesome in the car! I wasn't sure how they would travel since we haven't gone any far distances for quite a while, but they did great. They didn't even nap the entire way there on Friday. Overall, it was a great weekend spent with family!
