When Aubrey got home from preschool last Tuesday, she informed me that Mrs. Schuldt said that she was going to get to play with shaving cream at school the next time they came. This gave her the idea of doing it at home. Aubrey's played with it a few times, but Chloe never has. I was a little worried about her trying to eat it, but she only tried a couple of times before she just rubbed her hands in it. She then proceeded to try and wash herself with it. She was a mess! She had shaving cream all the way up her arms, smeared across the front of her shirt, and even in her hair! Aubrey had fun just moving it around and making different shapes in it.
Eileen had extra pumpkins growing in her garden and sent some home with us. We decided to paint them and make them look pretty. I was going to have the girls paint them inside, but Aubrey had the great idea of painting them outside. It was awesome and much less messy! The sidewalk still has remnants of paint, but at least the inside of my house doesn't! :)
