Today we headed to Shipshewana, which meant an early morning for us. It only took us about an hour to get there - the kids were great in the car, especially as we got closer to Shipshewana and started seeing horses and buggies. They loved looking for them. First we went to the flea market that they have there. It is huge! We were there for several hours and didn't make it all the way through. I found some placemats for my kitchen, a couple gifts, and some American Girl doll clothes for Aubrey's doll. We found a park to eat lunch and then the kids played for a little bit. Next we did some more shopping - a few stores downtown, E & S Sales (which had lots of food in bulk), Eash Sales (where I bought a flat of jar lids), Rise n Roll Bakery (where I bought some yummy jam and whoopie pies), Guggisberg Cheese Factory (we got to try over 20 different kinds of cheeses - they were amazing!), and Owl Toy Craft (Coye got a wooden tractor, fence, and several buckets and barrels). We bought ice cream on our way out - their special was Georgia Peach custard, which was so good! Needless to say, we were all exhausted by the time we got home, so we ate and put the kids straight to bed.
