Playing at the Park

The weather the past few days has been pretty nice. Today is absolutely gorgeous! I'm currently sitting outside typing on the computer while the girls play barefoot in the sand box. I love this kind of weather! I just wish it would stay like this and quit going back and forth. I'm so ready for summer!

Yesterday the girls had dentist appointments. Aubrey's been going for 2 years now, so she was fine with going. She actually told me that she loved going to the dentist. I'm so glad! She even sat in the room all by herself this past time with just the dental hygenist. It was Chloe's first time going - she needed an exam for school. She did really good though. I think it helped watching me at my visit two weeks ago and then watching Aubrey for a little bit. She sat great and opened her mouth really wide. I was so proud of them! They were excited to get new toothbrushes too. After the dentist, we went to the park. I had brought their bikes with us so they could practice riding them on concrete rather than gravel. Chloe has finally gotten the hang of it and did great - she even fell off and then got right back on without crying! We packed a picnic lunch, but the wind was cold so we ended up eating it in the car instead of under the picnic shed. The girls had so much fun though riding bikes and playing on the playground with their babies. We were the only ones there, so they got to have the whole park to themselves. We stayed for an hour and a half. After that I convinces them to go home, as I was getting cold. All the fresh air must have been good for them though, because they slept really good last night.

On a side note, they've been sleeping together for a little over 2 weeks now and are doing great! It was rough at first - I really wasn't sure we were going to make it. Chloe just wouldn't stop talking and pestering Aubrey, but since then, they've figured it out and have learned how to sleep together. Chloe still likes to scoot close to Aubrey and talk some, but for the most part, they are doing great. Chloe will even get out of bed quietly, without waking Aubrey up, and come downstairs in the morning. I'm so thankful!

The girls' new matching Hello Kitty pajamas from Uncle Nic and Aunt Ingrid - they love them and they fit great!
