Jenna's Bachelorette Party

Jenna's bachelorette party was the end of May. We went to Lafayette and spent the night in a hotel. It was a lot of fun having some sister/no kid time!

Nic and Ingrid spent a couple of days with us while they were in town for Jenna and Scott's wedding. We haven't been able to spend a lot of time with them the past few times they visited so it was nice to have them at our house where the kids could play together and we could visit and catch up. The kids had a great time playing outside, riding bikes, and just spending time together. All the kids (except Coye and Lars) slept in the girls' room. The first night the boys slept on the floor and Elora slept with Chloe in her bed (she's got a full). The second night Chloe and Colton slept in Aubrey's bed (it's a twin), Elora slept in Chloe's bed by herself, and Aubrey and Maximus slept on the floor. It was sad to see them go knowing that we won't see them for a while again, but it was fun making memories with them while they were here.

Hanging Out with Aunt Jenna and Uncle Scott

I wanted to spend some time with Jenna and Scott before they moved to Minneapolis so we met them at my parents a couple of days before they left. It was bittersweet knowing that this was the last time we were going to see them for a while. We've been so spoiled having them close the past four years and being able to see them at least once a month. We had fun hanging out with them and Kaiser (their dog), but we miss them like crazy!

Scott and Jenna's Wedding

My baby sister Jenna got married on June 14th to a wonderful guy named Scott. The day was absolutely beautiful - they couldn't have asked for more perfect weather. Jenna was a gorgeous bride and it was so awesome (and slightly crazy just because she is my little sister) to see her say vows and promise to spend the rest of her life with a guy we've come to know and love through the past few years. We were all in the wedding - I was a bridesmaid, Calvin was a groomsman, the girls were junior bridesmaids, and Coye was a ring bearer. It was slightly crazy with all of us in it, but we managed (thank goodness my in-laws were invited - they helped a ton!!). The girls loved getting all dressed up and Coye was in good spirits, even with no nap. They all walked down the aisle like they were supposed to, which was a relief. The reception was fun and the kids had a great time dancing. All in all it was a pretty perfect day and I'm so thankful that we were a part of it.
